Why Women Kill - Season 1
In this comedy and drama series, three women live in three different decades and have a variety of experiences with treason. The series explores the story of a housewife in the 1960s, a socialite in the 1980s and a lawyer in 2018, where each one deals with infidelity differently through the ages. This series tells of these women over time and how their roles have changed, but their reaction to treason has not changed constantly.

The dialogue is funny, the plots interesting. Sit back, enjoy, and remember never to turn your back to your wife.

...surprisingly interesting and enjoyable.
August 14, 2019
Why Women Kill is able to find balance by imbuing its darkest moments with absurdity. What results is a tasty little slice of entertainment.

With such enjoyably brilliant performances from Lucy Liu and the rest of the cast, the juicy storytelling becomes that much more engrossing, and the ten-episode season will certainly under-stay its welcome, if anything.

The tongue-in-cheek tone can be tricky. But beginning with the opening credits, which is set against the Frank Sinatra classic L.O.V.E. and pulpy comic book scenes, Why Women Kill gets the tone just right.

In a world inundated with tremendous television, Why Women Kill is merely fine.

The show's title suggests each story will end in murder, but whose? Talk about a killer hook.

Mark Cherry assembles a truly magnificent cast for what is billed as a darkly comedic drama, but it's very difficult to connect with the characters, and that's troublesome.
August 15, 2019
Despite its partial period setting, "Women" is essentially a modern version of "Housewives," mixing dark comedy with violence to illuminate the lives of its main characters.
August 13, 2019
As expected from [Marc] Cherry, Why Women Kill is a blend, a darkly funny comedy-drama that works on the surface.
