Season 3 begins with the raiding party exploring the new world, whilst Ragnar attempts to deal with his new role as King. With the promise of new land from the English, Ragnar leads his people to an uncertain fate on the shores of Wessex. And the endless clash between believing in God and the Norse Gods finally reaches its peak and potentially creates a point of no return between Floki, Athelstan and Ragnar.

While this is essentially the popcorn version of a quality serialized drama -- with more overt appeal to men than most -- Vikings is the sort of nifty endeavor that can give the idea of shamelessly marauding in search of loot a good name.
