It seems that the third season will be full of dramatic dramas, as Kat seems to realize that a member of her board does not have the best interest for his city. Now, Kat decided to channel her passion for volunteering to oppose him decisively in that period. On the other hand, Sutton is considering a career shift in fashion design but is discussing how to convey the news to Oliver. Meanwhile, Sutton is preparing to apply a design seminar to Oliver's recommendation, but it may be different in terms of his personal life.

When season two of The Bold Type ended with Kat and Adena breaking up in Paris, I was sad, but I was also hopeful for a bold and compelling new direction for Kat's arc, and I think the early parts of season three hint at that.
