Queer as Folk - Season 1 (UK)
A dramatic TV series about Vince and Stewart, two young gay men who live their lives on a mix of sex, drugs and clubs. Vince and Stuart are both 29 and have more fun. One night Stewart met Nathan, 15, and then returned to his apartment where they made love. As time passes, Nathan continues to pursue Stuart, but Stuart thinks of Nathan as one of many people they know.

It was steamy to say the least, but the narrative was incredibly compelling and original. Following the lives of three gay men...Queer as Folk was revolutionary television--mainly because the characters felt like real people.

Davies created a show for gay men to laugh at and feel included by that was daring and addictive enough to ensnare anyone who simply loved good TV.

A brilliantly brief series that came in, rearranged the furniture, splashed the walls with colour and then f---ed off. Punk TV at its most deliciously boisterous and subversive.
