The fifth season starts with the fourteen chefs who are divided from two groups of teams in a different restaurant in Los Angeles. In that special restaurant, the losing team members must make a red velvet cake that follows the stress test required for those. In those moments, chefs must create a dish using salmon during the exclusion round, and the chefs may be made according to the ingredients decided by the judges.
