The series deals with a different drama embodying the life of Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery. Victor still faces challenges at home and is struggling with his sexual orientation which can hinder his experience while communicating with Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of his life.

On the whole, Love, Victor is an easy, breezy romcom that makes for a delightful weekend binge. The romantic tropes are well trod and Love, Victor deploys them charmingly.

All told, Love, Victor ambles along, deliberately bland and pleasantly toothless. Having seen the whole season, it's completely appropriate for its young adult audience and therefore downright ridiculous that Disney Plus punted Love, Victor to Hulu.
