Discovering that the town of Haven is cursed, the FBI agent Audrey Parker, the sheriff and others are trying to solve this issue and protect the town from destruction. Through the third season, Audrey faces the fact that a strange man kidnaps her while Nathan and Duke are trying to figure out the truth behind the mysterious occurrences in the town.

Along with being strange and complex, Haven also seems poorly written, with the characters saying or doing things that seem illogical or coincidental, even for a town filled with "troubles."
