A new and different drama we are experiencing during the second season in that series, where 18 months have passed in a cause that caused a sensation. It is a powerful case. During the investigation into a strange case of sheep theft, Katherine discovers the body of Lynn Doherst, the mother of Royce, who had warned her to stay away from her grandson. On the other hand, everyone tries along with the new recruit Anne Gallagher, especially Catherine who decided to join the investigation. The woman was killed and sexually abused.

Revisiting the series and overcoming the early obstacles was, indeed, rewarding. Not every plot twist is original or even believable, but the second season only solidifies how impressive the whole Happy Valley world is.
