There are more strong and intense events we are experiencing during the fourth season. The season begins where the elder Abner Foley comes to the town in search of alternative therapy and a very friendly dog adopts Jake Sliker. The rest of the city looks forward to a teasing ceremony but must first face Brian for great fear. On the other hand, Dorothy got her book about the town, but the people of the city read their picture differently than she intended, and Sully's best friend asks him to come to Nevada to help him. Laurin suffers from a stroke, and Dr. Mike believes he can recover if he works, but Loren's negative attitude prevents progress.
