Code Black takes place in an overcrowded and understaffed emergency room in Los Angeles, California, and is based on a documentary by Ryan McGarry. Doctors and nurses fight to save lives in the country's busiest ER. The staff of the LA County Hospital emergency room treat patients under difficult circumstances.

It's fast-paced with lots of blood and lots of lives saved and lost, but there's really nothing here we haven't seen a hundred times before - and better.
