There are more strong events in season seven, where Rebecca seems to be still optimistic about Ivan Drake's departure to Japan in that period. On the other hand, Rebecca focuses her energies on promoting her career in an unprecedented manner and points out that Ivan Drake took all the key employees from the company to Japan with him. In the end, it seems that all those who knew it was 'washout' are now gone and are trying to buy a Mercedes.
