The 9th season begins when Mother Mildred told all that God is calling her to set up a branch house in the Outer Hebrides. It is the call that changed all things, as she is joined by several other members of the team to do that. The new mission will include Dr Turner, Shelagh, Mother Mildred, Trixie, Sister Julienne, Valerie, Lucille and Fred, where they have been struck down by flu.
