The series returns again during the fourth season, making Niki peace with Maseria and Rothstein, which drives Berenelli to kill a talented client, and Gillian tries to wrest Tommy's custody. On the other hand, van Alden manages the duties of the Cuban and later Capone. Dr. Valentin Narcissi, a sophisticated and sophisticated thief who wants revenge for the priest's death.

This might be Boardwalk Empire at its peak, but its peak remains much lower than other shows of its ilk. It's an 'A' season from a 'B+' show.

The moral dimension is missing from nearly all of Boardwalk Empire's characters, who murder and maim, if somewhat discriminately.
