Black Summer - Season 1

Description
We start with the events of this powerful series, which speaks of more drama and the strange horror of the zombie spreading horribly. It seems to be the end of the world during those difficult days, as a group of strangers try to find refuge to escape the disaster. Now, these people are trying to escape in order to reach their loved ones again and survive. On the other hand, William, Sun and Barbara are trying to drive to the stadium but there seems to be a group of zombies who occupy them intensively.

Although far from being the best of the genre, Black Summer is the zombie apocalypse series I've most enjoyed since the first season of The Walking Dead. [Full review in Spanish]

In a sense, Black Summer is The Walking Dead without all the bloated melodrama, kooky villains, and pretentious blabbering.

A bleak, dull affair that mistakes camera movement for narrative energy and has about as much life as the walking dead.
