The chance that [Gambi] is actually dead allows the episode to play out in a way that taunts our expectations of the show and its narrative. We get a darker, more emotional episode that is complemented by Anissa's and Jennifer's storylines.

Not sure what is going on here, but the meta-weirdness seems to be overflowing in this episode. Can't want to see what happens next.

Requiem, offered a number of big surprises. While the storylines of the second season so far have largely been slow-burning, several of them suddenly exploded in Requiem suggesting that big things are about to start happening.
