"No Woman is an Island" was a strong start to season four after the less-than-thrilling season three.

Sadly, Awkward Season 4 Episode 1 made the series falter miserably. With new show runners taking the helm, and maybe even a new staff of writers, what was once amazing about the comedy is now a distant memory.

Seldom have the 99% of high school students been better represented on TV than through Jenna, which may explain why Awkward remains smart and funny as it enters its fourth season.
