Atypical returns in its' second season taking after the life a 18-year-old Sam who is on the autism spectrum. Sam wants to discover a sweetheart and look for freedom, this thing may influences gravely on his mom. Season two plans conflicts amongst Sam and Casey as he can't discover a therapist and she is stressed over her new school.

There is no sophomore slump to be found in Atypical. The show is as excellent as it was last year, if not more so. Its sweetness and lack of desire to be crass for crass' sake is just refreshing in today's modern television landscape.

While Sam's disorder provides a unique perspective to the world of Atypical, the show is about so much more than that. Season 2 pushes this even further...and finds new ways to enlighten, inspire and surprise by endearing us deeper to its characters.
