John Magennis Jr. is a reality television producer, professional speaker and entrepreneur. John was born and raised in Dedham, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, with his parents and four older sisters. As a teenager John was a successful teenage entrepreneur who founded and ran a technology company in the 1990's which landed him a nomination for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Years later John worked for two of the largest investment banks before eventually relocating to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in television. Since then, John has worked in all aspects of reality television production including development and casting as well as field and post production. He has produced shows in nearly every U.S. state and in some of the most exotic locations around the world. Hide
