The show revolves around a group of chef teams who present a model of different challenges through the manufacture of special dishes. These contestants try to persuade some of the toughest tastes in the world to continue the competition and do their best. These teams try to prepare famous dishes from different countries in the most challenging cooking contest.

So, for the life of me, I don't know what The Final Table is for. Either Netflix deliberately made a show to sit around unwatched, or it has overestimated the extent to which we want to see a load of fame-hungry ninnies muck about with sausages

Yet what is a reality show without the watercooler experience of being watched collectively? That's half the fun. And ultimately to give The Final Table a cheery thumbs-up feels somehow wrong in the gut.

If you enjoy MasterChef, you'll love this terminal exaggeration of the genre, devised by former MasterChef producers -- although you might be left wondering how the format can ever progress beyond such enormity.
