The aforementioned plots were interesting enough, and a hell of a lot of fun. What makes this episode a tiny bit away from being a classic were the subplots in which the Jones boys confront Hiram Lodge.

My favorites are tied between Cheryl shooting the arrow, and Cheryl sitting in the armchair waiting for Hal. Being framed by the moonlight and tapping her nails when Hal arrived had a great undertone of menace and malice.

Tonight's episode of Riverdale went to so many places and achieved so many things that it felt like it was three hours long in a good way. Questions were answered! Breaking points were hit! And of course, a few suspicions were confirmed.
