Don attempts to return to his advertising agency after being put on indefinite leave following a meltdown in the middle of a client meeting. Eventually, his status at the firm becomes the focus of a bitter power struggle between Roger and Jim, both of whom want to take Sterling Cooper & Partners in radically different directions. What a wonderful episode. Even at its cruelest moments, the writers balance Don and company's struggles with stunning cinematography, flawless direction and sharp dialogue.
