Last week's "Slip" teemed with tension, but "Fall" is full of dread. Notwithstanding Better Call Saul's typically deliberate pace, the season's penultimate episode unfolds like a slow-motion car crash before culminating in an actual, inevitable wreck.

Jimmy adjusting to life away from being a lawyer hasn't been meaningless, but it did seem like we were waiting for something new to suck Jimmy into its orbit. This week, it appears like the writers have found that next thing.

Of all the jobs gone bad in this episode, Jimmy's is the one that really hurts-even more so Chuck turning on the firm he helped build when his colleagues try to force him out..
