The Keeper (Trautmann)
During World War II, Margaret Friar, the daughter of the local football team's director, meets young German soldier Bert Trautmann. Bert is a talented goalkeeper in football. Margaret's father was so adept at Bert as a goalkeeper that he was getting him out of the camp for the local participation of that game. Bert is a German prisoner of war and Margaret is a young woman who lives together with personal tragedy and public hostility with the end of World War II, which has left harsh conditions.
