The Intent 2: The Come Up
Maybe we live here in a world of crime where Jay seems to have failed because of his loyalty to both his crew and the criminal trainer Hackney Beverly. Jay is set to take another route where Jay sets up his own organized crime gang with the help of Mustafa. It may seem so secret that Beverly discovers his disloyalty, and a bad theft in northern London where it could be wrong. They are also being followed by police, especially police officer Matt Jones, who is always watching them.

It doesn't shy away from the ugliness that surrounds the two countries it's set in, and places it under a microscope. When it comes to authentic storytelling, the intent is certainly there. And it shows.

They needn't have bothered. While some of the acting is decent, especially from Ashley Chin...the writing is unfocused and it's hamfistedly edited and loaded with Caribbean clichés.
