The comedy is about a Chicago family. The father decides to take his family to relax in the resort area on the banks of the lake and although his wife and children are not quite happy, but he hopes to change after that vacation, but he boasts of the presence of his brother arrogant hateful Roman next to his family in the resort, to begin the constant inconvenience and strange behavior with his presence and difficult to relax And enjoy the Ripley family.

At the onset it seems that Candy, as in Uncle, plays the lower class half. Yet, by [Outdoors'] end we learn that the in-law is actually broke, essentially Cousin Eddie in disguise.
