Snoopy travels to see his original owner, Lila, who is currently in the hospital, and then feels obliged to return to her permanently. But then, he has to return home to say goodbye to Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang.

Snoopy Come Home was mostly a nostalgia trip for me, so I can't say how well it will play to new audiences, but I enjoyed looking at it again.
