This is one of Grant's best performances and one of the best film's Cukor directed.April 21, 2010
Cukor's direction here can best be described as savvy: Holiday develops in a witty, funny way, and its themes unfold as the movie progresses.February 28, 2012
Before they made The Philadelphia Story, George Cukor, Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn teamed up for this decidedly less flattering look at the life of the upper class.December 24, 2010
Old fashioned Grant/Hepburn classic.August 16, 2011
Character dramas are often at their best when exploring inside worlds and not running free outside.January 26, 2006

A romantic comedy with a serious undertone that could be called ahead-of-its-time.January 01, 2000
There are a thousand nonconformist comedies, but only one Holiday.April 04, 2011
Starring Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant in top form, George Cukor's serio comedy is the second and best version of the play.March 26, 2009
