Naimah, who is known throughout the entertainment industry and the world by only her first name, is an Actress, Author, Celebrity Transformational Coach. Naimah is also an alumna of the world famous Traphagen School of Fashion in New York.She was raised in Schenectady, N.Y. by a minister father and a stay-at-home mom. Naimah's appeal is how she can seamlessly cultivate her father's innate ability of engrossing a crowd with rapturous words, and her mother's gift for making you feel as if you are the center of her world - even if she is addressing you as part of a group.After deciding to leave upstate New York for sunny Southern California to pursue her dream of becoming a beauty industry entrepreneur in the 1980's; In true Naimah fashion, before long she landed a job with Barbara Walden Cosmetics. Following her stint with Ms. Walden, Naimah attracted the attention of Fashion Fair Cosmetics. Ebony Magazine founder Johnson H. Johnson mentored her while she worked as an Account Executive for the company. With Mr. Johnson's blessing Naimah later struck out on her own, and has never looked back.In 2014, Naimah and her husband co-authored a children's book titled, "The Wonderful You." With television, her sole focus is always showing respect for a show's creative team by doing her best to help bring their vision to life, no matter how small the part.Naimah and her husband have three beautiful daughters who all reside in Los Angeles, CA.
