Joey Duckworth is from Stanley, North Carolina and was born to parents Marty and Karen Duckworth. A 2005 graduate of East Gaston High School, he developed an interest in high school theater when all other activities were limited due to a part time job working on the weekends. Joey achieved the Gaston County's All County Cast Award in 2004 and went on to win the Fr. John Oetgen Theater Scholarship to Belmont Abbey College in 2005. The interest in theater became a love and he graduated from Belmont Abbey in 2009 with a Theater Minor. Joey can still be found on stage as an Abbey Player and has added being an extra in local film projects as a great way to continue acting as a hobby and learning tool. He has met and made good friends with many local film and theater enthusiasts and knows that a good time may sometimes mean being eaten by zombies. Hide
