Jana Park Moore was the first female Director to win the Championships Round of Honolulu's Showdown in Chinatown short film competition, Directing and Producing "Arthur," which went on to screen as an Official Selection at the Big Island Film Festival 2015. Since her first stage performance at age 5, Jana has been acting, directing, and producing every chance she gets. She's directed 5 short films, performed in over 20 plays, starred in multiple television commercials and radio voice-overs, written 3 plays, co-written 4 films, and in January 2015 landed a co-starring role on the CBS show Hawaii 5-0. In the Summer of 2015 she Directed, Produced, and Co-Wrote the short film "The Baby Luau."With a B.A. in Political Science (Minor/Women's Studies) and an A.A. in American Sign Language interpreting, Jana looks forward to making documentary and narrative films about women, parenting, poverty, the 3rd world, people with disabilities, patriarchy-based injustice, and Asian and Native Hawaiian history.
