Ryan Thomas "Clay" Brown was born in Provo, Utah to Deborah (McPhie), a sculptor, and Timothy Clay Brown (President of PR firm). Clay performed in various theater productions growing up and made dozens of stop-motion clay-animation films (hence the nickname "Clay").Clay briefly studied at The Art Institute of Salt Lake before transferring to The Art Institute of California - San Francisco in 2008, where he studied media arts & animation. During this time, he met key individuals that played a role in helping him get a career at Lucasfilm. Clay worked on the TV series, "Star Wars The Clone Wars" & "Star Wars Rebels Animated Series" as a designer. In addition, he also worked on "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". He worked at Lucasfilm for 6 years.In late 2017, Clay's passion for film and the desire to focus on film-making full-time, brought him to New York City. Since then, he has starred in various TV & film roles and has created & directed several short films and hopes to shoot his own scripts. Hide
